But I followed the rules I shared with you guys, and my legs are super soft! There's just one little spot I missed! Anyways I thought I'd give you an update on my legs hahaha! Next post will hopefully be tomorrow night/early Wednesday morning! It'll be a "what's in my shower"

How to shave your legs? What?

Hey everyone!
Today I'll be talking about how to shave your legs, the right way. Apparently I've been shaving my legs all wrong for the last 7years!
You obviously need to prep your legs! So for this you will need to shower for no less than 3 minutes, this will help soften the hair and make it much easier to remove!
USE SHAVING CREAM! Don't use a bar of soap or shampoo or condition whatever you think is an okay substitute, you're legs will freak out! Well, mine do. I get bumps and "razor burn" and trust me you don't want that! Using shaving cream will help guide you so you don't go over the same spots, causing irritation. (razor burn).
Time to shave!
Hold the razor near the head, meaning instead of holding the back of the handle hold a little closer to the blades. This will help to control the pressure, remember to be gentle when shaving! If you aren't gentle you'll more than likely end up with a few cuts!
Shave against the growth! Your leg hair grows "down" meaning it grows towards your toes, so be sure to shave from you ankles up! Use long and even strokes! This will help with getting a close shave!
After Care!
Do NOT rub your legs dry with the towel, pat them dry! Rubbing may irritate the skin!
Don't use lotions that have alcohol listed as a main ingredient. It will sting in ANY cuts you get!

Remember:
Hot water makes your legs swell, making it easier to get cuts. So don't wait till the end of your shower!
To get your ankles, flex your foot.
To shave over your knee, point your toe! (Just tried this for the first time, and it seriously works!)

I'll do another blog post on what I keep in my shower! So you know the type of razor I use, and the type of shaving cream!
I read about these tips in an old issue of Seventeen, so if you're looking for a magazine that will give you tips and tricks go check em out! (No, they aren't paying me to type this either! I found it and thought it was something most girls would need to know!)

Flat Iron Review!

Hey everyone!
I'm baaaack :) I know I say that a lot haha, but I'm hoping to get into more blogging this year!

So, today I'm reviewing my flat iron, it's a GHD Classic Styler. I bought it at ULTA, and for some reason I want to say it was $300, I remember my grandma saying something about it, now ULTA has it for $185.  I couldn't take a good enough picture, my lighting is crap, so I got it from google! haha

I can honestly say out of all the flat irons I've used, this is my favorite, it's gets my hair straight in one try and it stays that way!
It only take a few seconds to heat up, too!
It also has a little swivel cord so you aren't limited to movement.
It beeps when it's hot.
It has an LED light to let you know it on, and/or hot.

Only cons would be that it's a little pricey, and limited settings.  But honestly I can live with limited settings, I use the highest settings anyways.

I don't know I really don't have any cons about this, I love it. I would suggest to everyone, it's definitely worth the money!
